The route in one line

Fridge cheese → bedroom noise → cockroach → Tip’s advice → stomp → two coins → Wall Bank → Cheshire.

Step by step

1. Complete the kitchen fridge puzzle and take the cheese.
2. Return through the vent to Mellow’s room.
3. Use the cheese at the source of the cockroach noise.
4. Try to interact with the cockroach.
5. If Mellow refuses to touch it and you cannot progress, talk to Tip and ask what to do about the cockroach.
6. Return and choose the interaction that makes Mellow step on it.
7. Pick up both coins.
8. Reveal Wall Bank behind the drawing and feed it both coins.
9. Record the password it gives you: Cheshire.

The commonly missed interaction

Using the cheese does not complete the puzzle. It only brings the cockroach into reach. The verified Demo playthrough shows Mellow refusing to use his hands; Tip’s advice makes the intended solution clear: use his shoes instead.

If you are still stuck

• No cockroach appears: confirm that you used the cheese on the skittering noise in Mellow’s room.
• Mellow will not pick it up: that is deliberate; ask Tip, then step on it.
• Only one coin is in your inventory: check the floor again. Two coins drop.
• You cannot find Wall Bank: move or inspect the drawing on the bedroom wall.
• Wall Bank keeps asking for payment: feed it both coins before asking for the secret.
